Reviews
The Hanlon is a bit noisey, but once you make it off the main path into the forested area it is a lovely walk. Good beginner trail, or trail to take the little ones as well as your dogs!
Very friendly people and dogs overall. Love that it’s not entirely fenced in, both my dog and me can explore.
If you’re lucky you can spot some deer as well!
Very friendly off leash dog trail! I recommend to anyone who wants their pup to learn how meet other dogs and practice their recall with their owner!
Great place to walk the dogs off leash. Other dogs tend to be friendly with nice, respectful, responsible owners. Just hold your breath near the sewage treatment lol. Also, village of St Jacob's is super dog friendly. Easy to go have lunch or a drink with dogs in tow after a walk. Love this place.
If everyone cleaned up after there dogs and the pond got the water flow it use to before nestle, it would be a 5 star. Please if you love you pigs and cats Do Not Bring Them here .
I love going on walks here.
I don’t even have a dog but we bring our daughters here and they absolutely love watching the dogs all run around and play with each other.
The big path at the start branches out into many different side trails that lead through preservation park. It’s a great place for either a shorter walk or a full blown hike. Definitely worth a visit!
Always enjoy coming here when I get the chance. It’s always busy but big enough that you’re not tripping over one another. Tons of open area for exploring or letting the dogs go for a swim
Great spot to bring my pup. So many different trails to take and it's always so clean!
Lots of good friendly people and dogs. Some really nice routes to walk. It may take some wandering and exploring to get a sense of where you want to go. But you can't really go wrong.
I also want to say this may not be the best place for fetch. Rocks on the path may make it hard on your dog's pads.
